My Home

This is signed in the the Guinness Records as the tallest statue of the Virgin Mary in the world.

The clock where everyone meets at 9pm.

I have had a ton of people ask me where I am from… and as I have been living in different cities on different continents in the past few years I have had many homes… but there is one place that I call home home. It is a small lovely town, in the heart of a small lovely country. Haskovo, Bulgaria.

To be honest I am not the biggest fan of my town, I have left it long time ago in search of something that is bigger, better and perhaps more cosmopolitan, and yes, I have lived in two of the greatest capitals of the world, and I have quite enjoyed my time there! But in my heart and soul this little place is what I call home. It is where I grew up, where I go when I need a hug from my mom, and where I have met some of my most amazing and true friends. It is home.

The Facebook page that has been created has amazing pictures from the town. To be completely honest it does not look like this when you walk on the street, but beauty in photography is to be appreciated. These gorgeous photos do give me chills when I am away from home, and make me a bit homesick.

Like GAP for Charity

Christmas is coming, so everyone is becoming a little bit better. Including giant corporations. So GAP has created the Most Wanted Campaign on Facebook. All you have to do to donate, is to “like” the video on the Facebook fanpage and $1 will be donated to one of charities that the people in the video have chosen including Sussie Bubble and Alisa Leonard, two of the bloggers I religiously follow.

So go on facebook, go to GAP, Click on the Want tab,  and like it. It takes about 2 seconds or a minute and fifteen seconds if you decide to watch the video.

It is great to see how social media can be used for good, and to see how famous people and big corporations come together to create something great and charitable.

I’ve Read the Internet… Five Times!

Love this dude!!! So quotable, yet true!

Happy Thanksgiving Babes!

Although I am not in the US right now, and will not stuff my face with turkey and pumpkin pie, Thanksgiving is to be honored. So without being extra-cheesy, I am so very Thankful for my family and friends, I am thankful for passion and beauty and I am thankful for strength.

It has been one heck of a rollercoaster year in terms of emotions, from sky-highs to hell-lows, and looking back I am so very thankful for all the people who have been next to me, to keep me sane, calm and alive.  It is true that when times are rough you understand who is truly a friend, and I am so grateful, because in the darkest of times I realized I have so many people who are true and love me, no matter what, always and forever. So the lesson learned- when you think you have nothing left, when your plans burn into flames of disappointment and there is no sign from God or the Force to tell what the next step is, you should always remember for all the people who are there for you, who love you and are ready to swim oceans for you- friends and family members. And that is the biggest treasure and the most precious thing in life. Things will always get better with good people next to you.

So I give thanks for all of you my lovelies and I love you from the bottom of my heart!
