Do you have a crazy dream… one that will probably never come true… and even if it did, you would not know what to do… But it is still a wonderful dream in your mind.
I have one- to own a strawberry pink Volkswagen van. I saw for real one last year on Waterloo bridge in London (took a pic of me with it to prove it exists) and since then I have been in love with the idea of it. I saw this pic (up) on tumblr of a little pink vw van toy and remembered the real one I saw, and London, and all the crazy things that have happened to me since the night of the picture… the changes, the moves, the crazyness… but amidst it all the pink van has been a constant, and I haven’t forgotten I want one, just because they are pretty and I am in love with the sole idea of it. So yeah, things change, life gives you sometimes strawberries, sometimes lemons… but some things should be out there-unattainable but constant, just to keep us sane, but wonderfully dreamy.
So here are some of the videos that are classic and I have seen hundreds of times, and get played every time I have to show something a funny video, or feel down and need to be cheered up, but there is no one around. Hope you like them, and don’t think my sense of humor is too violent or dark. I’d honestly like to know which are the funny YouTube videos people watch that are classic to them… mine are not the most watched, they are something I have found and have made such an impression that I keep watching it though the years…
I love Marcel, he makes me happy because he is so emo and has his own channel on YouTube. Oh so full of quotes! Genius!
Classic! Makes me smile every single time, how something so small can scare something so big… and then the reaction of surprise by the mommy. Love! And it is a panda! So naturally… double love!
This has been on my top 3 for like 7 years or something. I have probably watched it more than a thousand times, and the funny thing is… he misses every single time!
No comment! LOL!!! Poor thing…
This is like the kid who misses the pool… poor thing hits the wall every single time! I think it is me who have seen it 200 000 times. 🙂
Instead of spamming all my friends on Facebook (although I did a little, and I apologize folks), I will share all my excitement about the Super Bowl here. I am so freaking excited that it is Super Bowl Sunday this weekend!!! And for those of you who probably don’t know me too well, I will clarify, I am not the biggest football fan to say the least. But… all I am excited about is the commercials! Oh, the commercials! Super Bowl sunday is like the only day when all the best, funniest, wittiest, catchiest, most amazing ads are gathered together and played on HD TV with short interruptions by some sproty game thing…
So in two words- CAN”T WAIT!
But meanwhile the search for ads is unstopable, and although quite late today I found an initiative by Doritos that is simply fabulous! The campaign is called Crash The Super Bowl, and initiates people to write, create and send their own ads for Doritos or Pepsi Max. Yeah, I have done that for a silly internship once, but now the prize is much much greater. The total sum of cash rewards is FIVE MILLION dollars! We are talking millionus here people! And of course the top five for each product will be aired during the game – that itself is more than a dream for everyone in the advertising business.
So indeed the submitted entries are more than amazing, and I dunno if there was much need of advertising the campaign itself but… Of course who is better to advertise and talk about making Super Bowl ads, than the queen of last year’s Super Bowl – Betty White:
I watched all of the top ten on the http://www.crashthesuperbowl.com/ but the first one I saw actually made me cry, and I can’t help but share it! It will replace the funny youtube videos that I watch when I am down in the land of blues… or at least be added to them! Here you go-
Hope it made your day 🙂
