I absolutely love Dr. Seuss’ book Oh The Places You Will Go. I got it as a gift from my best friend Tanya, and since then in has been read tens of times, given to many people to read, and quoted countless times.
Just had to share the video below! A friend of mine posted it on her facebook, and I decided to plagiarise and spread the awkwardly amazing awesomeness.
The Burning Man is something that the crazy, irrational and wild part of me wants to do someday, and then the normal, sane and simple-liking part it terrified by it. This video actually helps the first one because it is so “oddly wonderful” as my friend Emilia called it, that it makes my heart warm and fuzzy. Perhaps one day it will be one of the places I will go. It seems like fun, doesn’t it?
Enjoy the insanely crazy and out-of-this-world styling of the Burners reciting Dr. Seuss’ verses.
A book! Indeed a book! Filled with glitz, glamour, gowns and gorgeous photography. Dior: Couture is probably the book of the season, and definitely on my Christmas wish list. The imagery in the book is of no other but Patrick Demarchelier, so there is not even a hint of doubt it is going to be genius! Amazing photographer shooting of of the most prominent and powerful designs of Dior atelier- from Christian Dior himself to the John Galliano times, priceless at less than $70 on Amazon.
Being a very picky reader, who gets bored at page 50, it is very rare that I find a book that I read page to page in the matter of a couple of days. So whenever I find a book like this, it makes me warm and fuzzy on the inside. Few days ago I finished David Nichols’ “One Day” and now I am more than looking forward to see the movie, featuring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess as Emma and Dexter.
The story is just wonderful – following the lives of two people, on the anniversary of the day they met. It follows the ups and downs, the complex relations between men and women, the wonderful times when you think you have found yourself, and the scary moments you are looking but nothing is in the horizon. Perhaps I am looking into it too deeply, or perhaps it speaks to my own life and story, but no matter what the reasoning behind my infatuation with the story, there is no doubt that it is wonderful!
Here is a glimpse of the trailer, for just a taste of the story. Haven’t seen it yet, but I do hope it is as good as the book!

Continuing on the thought about Rihanna’s change of image.. She was rocking a Jean Paul Gaultier floral frock and nude Louboutin pumps at the signing of her book at Barnes and Nobel in New York. She looks amazing, classy and fresh. Go RiRi!
