This vid is a couple of months old, but I just accidentally got to it again and this time decided to share it. Modeling is definitely not an easy job, and it takes a lot of imagination, fearlessness and self-confidence to make a great shot. Coco Rocha is one of the best models of our time, and this video actually shows why.
Fashion is about experimenting and being different.
Coco Rocha is sensational for the new spring/summer 2012 campaign for Longchamp. I love that the whole urban summer topic is a continuous trend this season. (remember Karlie Kloss for Free People campaign?) Absolutely love the idea behind the video above, it is so happy and lighthearted. The photos for the campaign are also fabulous. The grace and poise in Coco’s posing are perhaps not the most present elements, but there is a great sense of humour and more than one wink in the photos. Just gotta love it!
As I have blogged before I am excited for the Karl Lagerfeld for Macy’s collection. Now as there is a sneek peek preview for some of the pieces, and I have found my perfect tee (bellow), the excitement is great!
Macy’s have made a great video from the behind the scenes process of making the collection. Please note the atmosphere and the creativity that streams from every corner in this video. Also the speed with wich Karl sketches! It is intense! I am pretty sure that if I get to meet uncle Karl will shit my pants from intimidation.
And let’s finish with the thoughts of Coco Rocha, it is so wonderful to be able to own pieces by Karl Lagerfeld at an affordable price. Priceless actually!
