Everybody has been talking about it, and I am jumping on the bandwagon just because I love it. Marsala is the color of 2015 and one of my faves overall. It was funny because Maquilab has posted all the colors that Pantone announced trendy, and immediately I gravitated towards Marsala, and only after that I found out it is the color of 2015. It is so rich, beautiful, complex and versatile. It can be used for clothes and accessories, make up or home-decor.
So all summer we have been renovating our apartment, the kitchen and the bathroom in particular. This calamity kind of explains why I have not been posting here as often as I would have liked to over the summer, but now after a couple of months -we are ready! I am going to share photos of the new kitchen on the blog soon, but I wanted to start with the inspiration board. Pinterest have been an amazing place to get ideas, look at beautiful imagery and plan what exactly you want. Here are some if my faves.
Last weekend we almost completed the renovations at home (pics to come soon) and I needed to refresh it mad make everything smell like a home and not like a new building, so somewhere in the wide world of pinkest I found the best thing to do! Instead of buying artificial scents like ambi pour, febreeze or whatever fake smells there are I decided to go in the more natural way.
The recipe I used, but somehow recreated is super simple.
All you need is 2 lemons, rosemary, and salvia. ( I have big pots on my balcony of the herbs so I was pretty generous with them)
All you do is put the ingredients in a pot and boil them letting the scent in all the rooms. It is so fresh and great! No chemistry at all, just garden herbs.
I haven’t salivated over Anthropologie amazingness for quite some time, and now as we are starting a huge renovation project for my kitchen, I feel the need to look for the perfect kitchenware, of course on http://www.anthropologie.eu and dream a bit. Here are the perfect baking set items – measuring spoons and cups, rolling pin and two pans- for brownies and for pie. All of the pieces are stoneware, microwave and dishwasher safe, beautifully painted and as everything Anthropologie – so fun. I love Anthro and wish we had stores like this in Bulgaria.
I am a proud owner of a balcony-garden this summer. It has been a dream for super long time, and a month ago along with the boy, we planted a bunch of flowers and herbs. I am not a fan of many herbs, but if you have fresh rosmary or basil or slavia in your own kitchen, new possibilities for recipes and tastes develop and now I put them into use. Even had my first Mojito with my own mint leaves!!! So yeah, nothing is impossible if you try it, even a herb garden in the middle of Sofia 🙂
My first encounter with Keith Brymer Jones was this winter when I was looking for a gift for one of my bestest friends. Found the perfect gift, a simple white apron with red lettering “Goddess” on it.
After that I kept crushing on the wonderful simplicity and distinctiveness of all the homeware pieces I kept of seeing everywhere. Basically if I could my whole kitchen would be filled with the gorgeous ceramic pieces.
They are classic, but with a note of fun and joy in them. It is such a simple idea to put lettering on everything, but keep it simple, and add just a sprinkle of humor in it.
And talking about humor I hope this video will make you smile. 🙂
Can’t help my love for the Shabby Chic style. Absolutely adore the boho-ness, the provence feel and the exquisite detailing in it. Flowers are a great accessory for very home, so I would like to share some spring inspiration.

Абсолютно обожавам Shabby Chic стила с неговите бохемски и провансалски елементи и невероятните детайли в него. Цветята са абсолютно незаменим аксесоар за всеки дом, така че бих искала да споделя малко пролетно и цветно вдъхновение.
Some people go to Kaaba, some go to Jerusalem, and for some there is 31 Rue Cambon. With the risk of being sacrilegious, this address sounds to me like one of the most coveted and sacred places in the world, not only in fashion. I was in awe today for quite some time when I saw the last post by The Coveteur – Coco’s Apartment. The post is amazing, it shares so much, not only beautiful imagery, but also insights from the life of Gabrielle Chanel, her superstitious nature and the symbolism in her home, the furniture she designed, the little nooks and corners of the apartment and the endless bookshelves with dark red leather-bound books. Here are some of the images, but definitely make sure to visit the Coveteur to read the whole experience.
The Staircase with the Mirrors!!!
Custom made crystal chandelier. Can you spot the number 5?
Suede sofa designed by Coco herself.
Wheat – symbol of prosperity and source of inspiratio for Karl’s SS2010 collection.
The iconic white chair and the mirror that was inspiration for the cap of Chanel N5.
Amazing, isn’t it? Nothing similar to the black and white, very clean shaped stylistic of her brand, but in the same time very meaningful and revealing of the nature and character of the most famous woman in fashion.
While I was shopping for Christmas gifts last month, I found out the coolest little gadgets ever. The little jewelry stands or just pieces of flair are in various tree shapes and sizes… oh and colours too! The company is Bulgarian and it is called Ard Decor, and although the site is not one of the best creations of the internet industry, it has few of the collection of fun products. Definitely worth stopping by if you go to a mall where they are sold.
Only two weeks are left until Christmas, and I am getting more and more in Jingle Bells-mood! Decorations, gifts, recipes for delicious Christmas treats… it is all up and buzzing in my head. And what better place to turn for inspiration to than Tumblr ! These are my top picks for tree decorations.
1. Very, very white
2. Blue and fun 3. Starry white 4. Golden joy After gathering inspiration I decided that this year my tree will be all silver and white, and although very small, I think the result is pretty!
