The designer was appointed creative director at Coca Cola for 2013 and is responsible for designing a set of Diet Coke limited-edition cans to celebrate Coke’s 30th anniversary campaign. The slogan is “Sparkling Together for 30 Years.” Each can represents a decade with the ’80s, ’90s and the Noughties. Hope the fab cans make it to my side of the world, as I will definitely love to have them as keepsakes.
A definite must see this summer. The ‘Louis Vuitton – Marc Jacobs’ exhibition is something that would be so great to experience!
Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs is a story of two personalities and their contributions to the world of fashion : Louis Vuitton, founder of the house of Louis Vuitton in 1854, and Marc Jacobs, its artistic director since 1997. Two innovators , both rooted in their respective centuries, advanced an entire industry. Two creators , each in his own language, appropriated cultural codes and trends in order to shape the history of contemporary fashion.
There are so many wonderful pieces in all the Spring Summer 2012 collections. Colours, trends, textures, silhouettes, an endless variety of pieces that make us dream of fashion. But then if you have to choose one piece for a very special occasion, what do you do? It is so hard to narrow down to one very special piece, so I did my best and narrowed to three. Here are my top three dresses from the Spring Summer 2012 Collections. Chanel
Couple of weeks ago I shared my obsession with this dress. I am still very much in love with it, but glad to share that some people actually share my little obsession. Kim Kardashian was shot for Glamour in the same dress, and Nicole Kidman wore it for a spread in Harper’s Bazaar. Where is it going to show up next is a good question, right?
I think it will be great if that dress turns into the next Miu Miu dress. I would have called it 🙂
PS: So as I really miss working in the wonderful world of pretty clothes and pretty people (aka fashion industry), I decided I should digitally have fun and style a little. I am a huge net-a-porter fan, so most of the pieces are from there, hope they wouldn’t mind 🙂
Remember when I wrote about the Marc Jacobs Spring Summer 2011 Show long, long time ago… well I still think it is genius, and there is one dress that is haunting me and I really really really think it is amazing. Dunno whether it is the color-pattern combo, the accentuated waist or the florals, or the complexity of the silhouette, but it is absolutely gorgeous! Just thought I will share the love, and perhaps some other fanatics will support my insanity 🙂
