McQueen Campaign 2012

Remember the crazy sea-creature like collection of Alexander McQueen for Spring/Summer 2012?

So now there is no surprise that the campaign that is promoting this colection is just out of this world. The images are so holy, yet serene, that I feel like framing them and lighting a candle underneath. They are carrying the extraordinary spirit of Lee McQueen and keeping the same wonderfully bizarre silhouettes and textures, completely translated in the campaign shots.

AMAZING: Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2012 RTW Ads

It is so wonderful to see ads that can be hung in a gallery somewhere as works of art! Uncle Karl definitely proves to be an amazing photographer!

The only thing that comes to mind after seeing the great shots in admiration and awe is… poor models! This is what Tyra call modeling H-to-T. It is all so effortlessly beautiful, that I can’t believe Joan Smalls and Saskia de Brauw are such great acrobats.     Photos FGR

Mulberry Spring/Summer 2012

The campaign reminds me of that 50Cent song meet Dr Seuss book.

Acne Spring/Summer 2012

Acne is a brand I have been discovering lately. It seems everywhere.

The SS2012 collection is gorgeous. Very simple cuts, ethereal fabrics and graceful silouethes.

Absolutely love the simplicity.

The whites and pastels are so serene.

Definitely a collection to salivate for.

Marni and H&M in Spring 2012

H&M announced a new collaboration with the fashion brand Marni for their SS 2012  season.

To be honest I am not very familiar with the Marni brand, so this is a great chance to learn something new and probably add a new name to my list of faves that I dream of.

Another new thing for me is the model– Aymeline Valade. I was watching FashionTV the other night and she was on TV as the First Face winner for Spring/Summer 2012. She will be the  model for Marni’s new H&M collection. So there you go two in one – model and a fashion brand added to the greatly growing fashion knowledge that I am trying to inquire through this blog.

In conclusion I am hoping, dreaming and believing that this collaboration will be much, much, much better than what currently is in the H&M stores.
