Style Inspiration: Karlie Kloss

Karlie Kloss is one of my favourite people in the fashion world. I like how nice, down to earth and great role model she is. And her style is impeccable. Very simple, stylish and classic. Here are some photos of her street style that are great for weekend style and shopping inspiration.

Gotta Love Karlie Kloss

Vogue in Brazil

Vogue.com just posted some wonderful images from the July issue.  The editorial featuring one of my favourite ladies Karile Kloss called –“Brazilian Treatment”—a ten-page portfolio shot by Mario Testino for Vogue in celebration of all things sun and spa, is simply gorgeous. Some of the images are breath taking. This is what happens when you combine one of the best photographers with one of the best models on a wonderfully gorgeous piece of land.

Karlie in True Blue for Vogue Australia

Karlie is magnificent in this shoot for Vogue Australia. Shot by  Kai Z Feng and styled by fashion editor Naomi Smith,  in this stunning and sultry tale, Karlie wears some of the most gorgeous fashions of the season. Beautiful!

David Beckham is Sexy for H&M

David Beckham is a sexy man! No doubt! (ok, yes, when he is with his mouth shut, because when he talks the hotness is fast cooling down, but still… a sexy man nevertheless!)

David Beckham in underwear, even sexier! The hot news are that David’s men’s bodywear collection for H&M will be in stores February 2nd. And seriously where was the buzz about this collection before the photos came out?! I feel like I have missed out on the preparation for it and the hot photo session for PR just hit me without notice. But still… Not a bad hit at all.

David said about the collection: “I always want to challenge myself and this was such a rewarding experience for me. I’m very happy with the end result and I hope H&M’s male customers will be as excited as I am.” I can add… not only the male customers, David, we girl can appreciate great male undies too.

And as H&M will be in Bulgaria very, very soon, the news about the collaboration make me even happier. David’s underwear extravaganza is pretty simple and looks very classy. Would not mind if my BF wears some of the pieces (Valentine’s Day gift ideas ladies!) Can’t wait till H&M is here, I only hope they carry the designer collaboration collections. Hopes and dreams are good, right?!

The Full collection can be found on the Vogue.co.uk site.

Exclusivity Pays Off*

In times where everyone wants to be covered everywhere, and designers invite bloggers and provide them with laptops for easy sharing in order to create more buzz and put their names on all types of social networks, there is one social media hermit who is trying to avoid the revolution and keeps it to himself and just a few selected individuals. Tom Ford.

For the first time since fashion week I got to see some of the amazing creations Mr. Ford showed to exclusive audience. A collection modeled by his muses, presented by him and viewed by few, but appreciated by many. Perhaps avoiding the social media outlets and bloggers is proving to be a win for the designer, as the interest for the collection is great. It is covered Vogue US and Vogue Paris, and many other publications including Harper’s Bazaar (where the photos are from).

The collection is amazing, details as always are a focal point that is delicate yet screams for attention. And what strikes me the most is that when I looked at the photos first I noticed the clothes and it took me a few seconds to realize that they are on famous people. Gorgeous!

*Only if you are Tom Ford.

CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund’s Winner Is….

Announced on a star-studded event in New York City, and presented an award from Uncle Karl himself the winner of the Vogue Fashion Fund (or as I like to call it- Vogue’s Project Runway) is one extremely talented man…

… and his mane is Billy Reid.

The award… $300,000 business development and a one-year mentorship with a leading industry professional. Pretty impressive! Hopefully we shall see and hear more from Billy in the times to come, as he already has a quite impressive portfolio.

It is always great to honor talent, and Vogue surely can do it in style!

And talking about style, no wonder Blake Lively was at the event too. The cover girl for the yearly Vogue’s Best Dressed is truly a rising star. But who wouldn’t be if their best buddies were Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld themselves…

Fashion’s Night In

As if we need more reasons to shop… or maybe we do! Vogue announced Fashion’s Night Out little sister – Fashion’s Night In. It is going to be on November 1st and Vogue are very excited about it.

“VOGUE.COM’s Fashion’s Night In is the perfect reason to sit back, kick off your heels and spoil yourself as we bring you the best that online shopping has to offer with a night of exciting and exclusive digital fashion events.”

Check out the participating retailers and their offers.

It is great that Vogue are doing that, as part of the proceeds are going for charity, however the whole idea behind why Fashion’s Night Out is so appealing is the socializing, partying, free drinks and amazing music, yes along with the fashion shows and goodie bags. So far Vogue are not very clear on how the whole online community is going to join together and enjoy the fun and creativity of Fashion Night Out well… IN. However this is the almighty Vogue, so  I am expecting social media fashion wonders.

Oh that Miu Miu dress… again!

Miu Miu Appliqué Lace Dress  has been the most popular fashion item in the past couple of months. It is EVERYWHERE! I wonder whether it is on purpose or a mistake of the Miu Miu PR office… or just stylists Love! that dress because it photographs well… anyway it has been a bit over-exploited. Some of the covers it made it on are below.

Is it really THAT amazing of a garment?!
