Officially the bags are the best part of the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target Collection. I want them all, but sadly I feel that to get your hands on one of those beauties you have to be in line for hours, to sharpen your nails Lady Gaga-style and be ready to push people, pull hair and elbow the crowd that will be in line in front of the Target stores on 15 September. But still if I can get my hands on one (or more) of these beauties through my buddies living in the USof A I will be the happiest camper. Ever! I completely agree with Emily from Fashion Foie Gras – “The idea of a $35 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Bag is just too good for most people to miss out on.”!!!

A Sacred Place in Pictures: Coco’s Apartment

Some people go to Kaaba, some go to Jerusalem, and for some there is 31 Rue Cambon. With the risk of being sacrilegious, this address sounds to me like one of the most coveted and sacred places in the world, not only in fashion. I was in awe today for quite some time when I saw the last post by The Coveteur – Coco’s Apartment. The post is amazing, it shares so much, not only beautiful imagery, but also insights from the life of Gabrielle Chanel, her superstitious nature and the symbolism in her home, the furniture she designed, the little nooks and corners of the apartment and the endless bookshelves with dark red leather-bound books. Here are some of the images, but definitely make sure to visit the Coveteur to read the whole experience.

Amazing, isn’t it? Nothing similar to the black and white, very clean shaped stylistic of her brand, but in the same time very meaningful and revealing of the nature and character of the most famous woman in fashion.

David Beckham is Sexy for H&M

David Beckham is a sexy man! No doubt! (ok, yes, when he is with his mouth shut, because when he talks the hotness is fast cooling down, but still… a sexy man nevertheless!)

David Beckham in underwear, even sexier! The hot news are that David’s men’s bodywear collection for H&M will be in stores February 2nd. And seriously where was the buzz about this collection before the photos came out?! I feel like I have missed out on the preparation for it and the hot photo session for PR just hit me without notice. But still… Not a bad hit at all.

David said about the collection: “I always want to challenge myself and this was such a rewarding experience for me. I’m very happy with the end result and I hope H&M’s male customers will be as excited as I am.” I can add… not only the male customers, David, we girl can appreciate great male undies too.

And as H&M will be in Bulgaria very, very soon, the news about the collaboration make me even happier. David’s underwear extravaganza is pretty simple and looks very classy. Would not mind if my BF wears some of the pieces (Valentine’s Day gift ideas ladies!) Can’t wait till H&M is here, I only hope they carry the designer collaboration collections. Hopes and dreams are good, right?!

My First Paris

 

 

 

So, finally, I made it to Paris. After all I have heard, watched, been told, read, and so on and so on, I actually experienced it. And it is simply fabulous! My tour was way too touristic for my liking, but it included a carousel, get together with an old friend, a fantastic birthday on the Eifel Tower, meeting an acquaintance I have not seen for 7 years in the metro in Paris, randomly, and many many other moments of joy and exhaustion, exhilaration and foot-pain. Glorious few days, with even more glorious pictures!
